Ben Nevis – upupupupupupup
I was very proud to make it all the way up Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the UK. The Husband and I have some pictures we’re really happy with, but nothing shows the scale like a recording. Here are three.
While climbing – we’re going up there!
The summit and observatory ruins.
Another view. Like heights?

By the way we went to the Grand Canyon
That was a few months ago. It was warm then. And sunny. Memories …

I have 4 videos.
#1 The View From Look Out Point
#2 East end of the canyon, from the rim. With a bird.
#3 Mount Humphreys, briefly.
#4 The Meteor Crater near Winslow, Arizona. Yes, it’s the one from Starman.

I would like to point out that the publicly owned Grand Canyon cost $25 for one car up to one week, whereas the privately owned Meteor Crater cost $30 for 2 people for a one hour tour. If you miss the tour then you can only look from the Visitors’ Center deck (still $15 per person).
The Husband and I recommend staying in the Grand Canyon Village, but not actually on the rim which was crowded all day and night with people walking. We were very happy with the Maswick Lodge which is about 1/4 mile from the rim, quiet and fairly secluded. I have many (many, many) beautiful pictures from the Canyon. But these are just the Best Of.
A great trip all around; I hope to go back again someday.

Here we are on the summit. I think the one I made is better.
